Morning stiffy.
I've always wondered what the actual view is like from this point of Mt. Wilson. I'm sure it must look awesome.
It looks like today would be a nice day regarding the weather. It should be around 71 degrees. In fact, I'm going to go running in a while. Unusual for me to go run while everyone is active. I usually do so right after work, around the 6 am hour.
What is going on with Amy Winehouse? I almost feel sorry for her seeing what her life is looking like. She was just recently involved in an incident where she headbutted a London man. Wow, really?
Not only that, but look at her. I mean, look! She looks so beat up and old and raggedy. Would you really believe that she is 24? Yes she is. She looks 54 if you ask me. Maybe even older. I do know that she looks monstrous now though.
You know what puzzles me? There was a picture released of when she was in High School. She was actually really cute. She looked sweet and innocent. What the hell happened?

Two times? Really?
Yes, really. It's very unfortunate when you lose friends. Especially friends you were really close with. I suppose they weren't really friends based on the decisions they make. I'll tell you what happened.
I met this girl 10 yrs ago. We were pretty close, I'd say, until about a year ago. I guess you can say she was getting distant. I know why.
I logged on to MySpace a couple of days ago and I noticed there was one less friend. I wish there was a feature that shows you who exactly deleted you from their friend list. Whatever.
I didn't think too much of who it was at the time. Just yesterday, I was reorganizing my top friends and I noticed that SHE was missing. I thought maybe she deleted her account all together because of her boyfriend. That's why she's been distant in the past year. I looked up her name in the search and sure enough, she still had her account. I sent her a message asking her why, and she told me what I guessed. Her boyfriend was the reason. He's an insanely jealous guy who doesn't like her talking to any guys. I wasn't he only one she deleted either. She has talked to me about him and his jealous before, so this isn't new. I just didn't think that it would get bad enough that he has to tell her who she can and can not talk to. It's sad really, because we've been friends for 10 yrs now. Then the guy comes along and controls who she talks to.
Like the subject says.... two times. This has happened to me before. Same exact situation, same exact outcome. Oh well. They obviously decide what they want to do. If they choose to abandon their male friends to be with the one controlling guy they are with, then I have nothing to say to them except for good luck.
Kina Grannis performs tomorrow in Fullerton. Do I really want to go... alone? No, I don't. I really wish I had friends that know who she is and enjoy her music. I have one who I showed her music to and she enjoyed it. In fact, she went with me to the show Kina had a while ago. The picture to the left is from that show. Unfortunately, Val works Thursday and can't get out of it. The show itself is at noon, in Cal State Fullerton. I really want to go. I missed her last show here in L.A. :(
Did I mention I was banned from YouTube? Yep. I commited my 2nd violation. Heh, oh well.
The only thing that I'm really bummed out about is that my video of the Deftones will no longer be the top search on Yahoo and Google video search. I'm sure it'll still show in the results, but if you click on it, it won't exist anymore. Sadness.
Do I want to register to YouTube again? Maybe...

Weekend wrap-up
I suppose now is a good a time as any to talk about my weekend. I guess maybe you can say it was a good one.
Let's start off with Friday night, shall we?
Indeed. Friday night was the long awaited Seether concert @ The Wiltern. I was eagerly waiting for this day since Seether is one of my top bands. I took my pal Vin with me. He's never seen them before. In fact, he's somewhat new to their music. I showed him a couple of songs and he liked what he heard. Especially the song entitled Breakdown because it describes what he had gone through so well. However, it was really disappointing that they didn't even perform the song. We think we know why.
The problem was, it was a "co-headlining" show. Granted, they were the last band to perform, but Seether and the band prior, Flyleaf, shared about the same amount of time on stage and probably same number of songs performed. I believe Seether only played... maybe 13. That's a low number. If you recall the Foo Fighters concert I went to, they played 26 songs. Twice as many as Seether.
Regardless of how long Seether played though, they were amazing. The lighting was quite the eye-sight. I loved the colors used and their stage setup.
Seether started off with a see-through curtain on the fart, light beige colored. As the lights went out, the bass-line for No Jesus Christ started playing, and an old factory style hanging light came down directly over the middle of the stage. After a while of the bass, Shaun came out and stood under that light and started singing the song.
You can see more photos here. I apologize that they aren't great photos, but I was quite the distance away from the stage.
Saturday came and went. Nothing much happened so there isn't really anything to tell. I was just bummed out that she hadn't called me Friday or Saturday, so I just sat around and saw a movie with my roommate.
Sunday is off to a decent start. Well, I think you can say it's a good start. I ran this morning with my roommate, and I must say I was quite impressed with myself. Instead of the normal 1.5 miles that I started out with, I increased the distance to 2 miles. Why was I so impressed with myself? Well I'll tell you.
I ran the entire distance without stopping to walk. Granted it was a slow and steady pace, but I'm a beginner. What can ya do? I'm just glad that I ran the entire distance non-stop. Go me!
I suppose you want to know the time I ran it in, eh? Fine. 20 minutes, 33 seconds.
Well that's it for now. She's currently on her way to Sicily as I type this, so I'll just sit around and wait for her phone calls at each airport. She already called once before getting on her first flight. 3 more flights to go after. Fun times.

Where have I been?
Wow... where have I been hiding? Well, I'm out, and I thought I'd update this thing. I really haven't been in the mood to write, but I think it's time to change that.
I have been keeping myself busy and distracted from my situation. You know what? It's been working. I don't feel sad or depressed much anymore, which is obviously a good thing.
Random thought, I need a new keyboard, some of my keys aren't working so good, especially my T..
Anyway, two weeks, my roommate's brother took me out to a Dodger game. It was against the hated Giants. They don't have a team this year, but still manage to beat the Dodgers 2-1. It was the first game that I've been to that was on rain delay.
You can't really see the rain coming down at this point, but you can see the "mist" around the lights. It was the best I can do.
I think it's amazing how fast the grounds crew work and how well they work together to get stuff like this done.
I'm still running. This morning was my best run yet. I did 1.5 miles around some streets in 15 minutes, 50 seconds. What's even better is that I did it non stop. Go me! I can't wait to get faster. Once I am satisfied with a better time, I will proceed to increase my distance to 2 miles. Who knows, maybe I'll run the Marathon next year. HAH, right.
Well I must start getting ready for work. I'm going to borrow an idea from a fellow bogger and leave you with a youtube video. I first heard about this on the Kevin and Bean show. Thanks to them, I still kept laughing during my rough time.
They were talking about how Japanese game shows are completely different from what we have here in the states.
The object... reach the goal while running on a (fast)Treadmill *and* jump some hurdles.
Hilarity ensues.
