Today's project: Make a photograph that features repetition.
I hadn't thought much about today's project after I first found out what it was. I realized my day was coming to an end and I knew I had to come up with something. As soon as I did, that's when my idea hit me. It was easy.
My roommate has a pool table. I simply thought about lining up all the balls and taking a picture of it. Simple, right?

Hard light shadows
Today's project: Make a photograph using hard light today. Feature the crisp and strong shadows as a major element of your photograph.
At first, I was wondering what I could do for today's assignment. I knew it had to involve shadows, obviously, but it's been a rainy day today, so there's no sun. I could use artificial light, but I really couldn't think of anything I can try.
I decided to cheat again. Third straight time, but I had a good idea on what I could use for the assignment.
I remembered a certain picture that my friend had sent me from Afghanistan when he was deployed there.
As you all know, Afghanistan is a desert, with a strong sun. He was on patrol when he brought out his camera and took a self image of his shadow. The strong sun shows the detail in his shadow, down to his weapon.

Aspect of Communication
Today's project turned out to be easy, although I must admit I'm cheating again.
This time, I decided to ask a dear friend for assistance. When I thought of communications, I instantly thought of Skype. That is where my friend comes in. He used Skype all the time to communicate with his family while being deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
My friend was gracious enough to allow me to use this particular photo that he took. He was talking with his family as his young daughter was just waking up.
Skype is a wonderful tool to boost moral for our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen that are out there in the world serving our country. It's a great way to communicate with their loved ones.

Angels Bike Red
I'm a little late in the game, but thanks to a buddy, I'm deciding to start this project as well.
Today's theme was the color red. It didn't matter what it is, so long as it has red on it.
I'll admit, I'm kind of cheating on this first entry, but it IS a picture that I took myself... back in August 2006, though. Since it was a last minute thing that I decided to do, I went with an older picture I instantly knew had red on it.
Back when I was dating my ex, I took her to her first baseball game in Anaheim to see the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Upon leaving the stadium, we spotted this motorcycle decorated with Angels logos and coloring. Even his helmet, as you can see. If you'll notice, the exhaust pipes resemble Gatorade bottles.
Now that is a dedicated fan.
