Disneyland, Saturday, 12/17/16

This weekend is the last weekend I am allowed to go to Disneyland, as my Annual Pass is blacked out for the last two weeks of the year. I needed to take photos of New Orleans Square at night witht he decorations up. That was one of my goals last night. I'm glad I was able to complete that.

I am pleased with the couple of photos I took there. This Saturday is also potentially the last time I had the chance to see the Paint the Night parade. I'm sure it will come back in the future.

Anyway, on to the photos.

Disneyland/ California Adventure, Saturday, 12/10/16

I decided to once again go to Disneyland and California Adventure, except this time, one of my goals was to take photos of Princess Elena. I haven't seen the arrival of the Princess yet, so I set out to take photos of her for the first time. It was fun. I enjoyed seeing the court dancers in their colorful apparel dancing away.

While I was there, I wanted to see the Holiday Toy Drummers again. Always enjoy seeing them. They seem to be having more fun now.

Disneyland, Saturday, November 19th, 2016

This past Saturday, I decided to visit Disneyland by myself and capture the Christmas decorations throughout the park. I was excited because I have never visited the parks during this time of year, and I've been an Annual Passholder for the last 3 years. I really wanted to see the Holiday Toy Drummers in California Adventure, and they did not disappoint.

Here's video I filmed in 4K.

Anyway, on to the rest of the photos. Be warned... I took A LOT!

Huntington Beach Air Show, Saturday, October 22nd, 2016

The first ever Huntington Beach Air Show took place on Saturday, featuring the Breitling Jet Team and the U.S.A.F Thunderbirds. It was an amazingly gorgeous Saturday afternoon for an air show over the ocean at 85°. I was looking forward to seeing the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds again after seeing them for the first time at the air show over at March Air Force Base.

The air show started off with members of the Lucas Oil Jump Team sky diving during the National Anthem.

Granada Hills Charter Highlanders 58, Chatsworth Chancellors 0, Friday, October 14th, 2016

The Granada Hills Charter Highlanders played a home game against the Chatsworth Chancellors Friday evening. GHCHS once again showed their dominance by beating the Chancellors 58-0. Below is a video of a successful 3rd down conversion after a couple of penalties put them back 18 yards.

Disneyland/ California Adventure, Thursday, October 13th, 2016

Today was a random visit to Disneyland. Actually, it wasn't quite random. I went because California Adventure was showing a sneak peak of Moana at Bug's Life Theater. It was an even only for Annual Pass holders. I decided to go a bit earlier for more photography at both parks. I didn't take too many, nor was I completely satisfied with the shots I took today....

Disneyland, Friday, September 30th, 2016

There's not too much I can say about this particular day. Actually, there is. I wanted to take a a few more photos of certain Princesses. The only one I got was Princess Tiana. She looked lovely as always. I also met Mary Poppins and Bert for the first time and took photos of them. I also decided to stand in line to meet and take photos of Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow. Fawn was also there.

Another thing I was happy with is the interaction I got from the performers of the Soundsational Parade. Many of them saw my camera and waved/smiled. I even got kicked in the face by Mickey himself.

Disneyland, Thursday, September 29th, 2016.

After driving back from Arizona on Thursday, I decided to make a pit stop at Disneyland for more sunset/night time photography. I realized that I haven't taken photos of New Orleans Square without people in it. Last time I came close to it, security wouldn't allow me to get there because "they were working on something." This time, I stayed in the area until it cleared out. Once again, it almost gives you the feeling like you're in a real town.

Grand Canyon, Wednesday, September 28th, 2016

I decided to re-visit the Grand Canyon, simply because I was so amazed with it the first time I went this time last year. This time, I made the smart decision to stay MUCH closer. Definitely a wise choice. It wasn't a particularly clear day. Storms passed through so not too much sunshine. With rain, though, comes for a possible rainbow. I was lucky enough that a rainbow did appear.

Anyway, on to the photos.

Disneyland, Sunday, September 25th, 2016

Last Sunday, I decided to make another round of photography at Disneyland. One of my favorite parts of taking photos there are the parades. I enjoy taking photos of the cast members, actors, and dancers, because you can see the joy on their faces as their perform. I also love the interaction some of the cast members have with the public. One of my favorite moments from this particular parade was the monkey dancers just in front of the Lion King float. He noticed I was holing my camera, came up to me, and let out a loud monkey sound, scaring everyone around me, including myself. Everyone laughed.

Speaking of joy on their faces, this one is probably my favorite of all the smiles during the parade.

Anyway... on to the rest of the photos.
