Wow, where to start? I'm so far behind. It's been about a week since I last posted. I wouldn't really call last Sunday's post an entry because it was simply a picture. I've been working some overtime, talking to my girl, and sleeping. That pretty much took most of the week.
So let's go back to last Friday. My friend Maria called me and invited me over to her house for movies. I forgot what we were going to watch, but we held it off and decided to get some dinner first. As we were about to leave, her friends called her and asked her if she wanted to join them for yogurt, which happens to be just next to the restaurant we were planning on going to anyway. She asked me if I wanted to, and I was ok with it. We met up with them, and Maria was especially excited to meet her friend's new girlfriend. She introduced me to all of them. Nice people.
After yogurt/dinner, we started walking to our cars, but it was still rather early. So they thought of something else to do, and bowling came up. I talked to Maria about it, and I told her I hadn't slept all day yet, but I needed the fun and I've never been bowling before. She kept asking if I was sure, and I said yes. She's a sweety. We ended up at the bowling alley, somewhere in Fullerton. I must say, bowling is FUN! WOW was I glad I went. I even finished 2nd place. Go me!
It was already really late, so Maria offered o le me sleep on her couch that night. I accepted, because I was dead tired at this point.
I started driving home around noon, Saturday, and I was stuck in traffic up the 5. Not to mention it was hot. Oy vey.
Saturday evening rolls around, and I had a Dodger game to go to. I picked up my friend I invited, and met up with my coworker at the game. We had a blast. Unfortunately, I missed an 11 run first inning, including a grand slam. Argh! Regardless, they finally kicked ass at a game I attended. Not to mention I was with good people, so it made that night really fun. There was a scary moment in the game though.
The umpire took a fastball pitch right on his ask, jaw area. It knocked him back, and lost consciousness for a few seconds. Needless to say, they didn't take any chances and took him out of the game and straight to a hospital.
Turns out, he's ok now. ^^

There's a bowling alley in Fullerton?! I never knew that? Do you remember where it was located?
And sucks about that umpire. At least it made for something unique I guess.
Yes that game was awesome...
