It's so easy, easy.

I know I've been neglecting this blog for a while. I just haven't felt like writing much lately. Maybe if I set a fixed schedule, it may work better.

I need to do something about myself. I don't know what, but something. I did something today that I probably shouldn't have. I just felt in a way that I had to. I don't know. I'm not expecting an outcome of it, as I know I shouldn't. It's so easy, easy to just say to forget about it, but deep down, it's not.

On a lighter note. There are a couple of things that are going pretty well to keep me thinking positive.

The Angels clinched the A.L. West division already. It happened on September 10th, with a 4-2 victory over the Yankees. Not only that, they are obviously the first team in the majors to officially advance into the playoffs. Better yet, the Angels became the fastest team to clinch the AL West since the Oakland Athletics did it on Sept. 15, 1971.

You think I'm done? No, I'm not.

Francisco Rodriguez broke the single season Saves record by collecting #58 Saturday night, September 13th. To think he's only 26 years old, which such a milestone aready behind him. He did it by striking out Raul Ibanez with a full count. Awesome!

The previous record was held by Bobby Thigpen with 57 saves 18 years ago, witch the Chicago White Sox. With so many games left this season, it'll be hard for anyone else to break K-Rod's record after this season is over.

After today's game against the Seattle Mariners, the Angels will still have 13 games left in the season. The is plenty of time to tack on more saves this year.

Congratulations to both the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and Francisco Rodriguez!
